I've been paying a debt each month to a "non profit" organization (church owned hospital) and now they have turned my account over to a collection company. Without fail, I have made the payment each month since the first bill and the payment has been accepted.
The collection company informed me that this would be reported on my credit report.
I was called each month by the creditor asking me to pay in full, and I told them that I would send them what I could each month; and have been dilligent with that payment.
Is there anything that I can do short of getting a loan to keep this off of my credit report?
