I have gotten myself into trouble with paydayloans in the amount of $5,000.
It started 2 years ago and just spiraled.
I honestly did not realize what I was getting into as their contracts are so confusing.
I just read that Pennsylvania has laws relating to interest rates but all of these loans came from Delaware?

I am closing my bank account as I cannot afford to pay my rent or other bills and seeking consumer credit counseling.
Is there anything that you suggest of can do for me.

These places are like legal loan sharks. I would look very carefully over your contracts with them. I would also show these contracts to an Attorney. DONT assume anything!

One more thing. Am I committing fraud by closing my account out? I am really frightened with such a mess thatI got myself into.

Well if you open any accounts then they can put a lien on them if they get a judgement against you. Have you talked to a BK attorney? You still owe them money and the only way to escape the mess is to file for BK.

Just because you are going to credit counseling doesnt mean the creditors have to go in it with you.
