I was taking paxil in the past and became suicidal and attempted suicide. I was taken off paxil and haven't had a problem since. Are there any legal actions I can take?

No. Suicide attempts are an inherent risk in any anti-depressant pharmaceutical treatment.

Yeah I know. The VA doesn't really give you much choice on what they give you though. They just push pills on us and get us out the door.

They do? That is a new one on me. I have been going to the VA since 1985. Never has that happened to me. Which VA do you go to?

Just because you are given a prescription or the medication does not mean that you have to take it without research. You are not being forced to take the prescription, you choose to do so.
