I am filing for naturalization and must answer the following
"Have you ever been arrested, cited or detained by any law enforcement officer
(including USCIS or former INS and military officers) for any reason?
I am to provide dates and disposition etc.
Approximatley 18 years ago I was ticketed for " shooting at non game animals", I plead no contest, and was fined ~$200.
The trouble is I have no record of it, and can't seem to find any. So I don't have dates and other particulars. Should I give approximate dates and dispensations without paperwork? Or should I go back to the town and track down something from the court house.
