can a parole officer forbid a parolee from living with their spouse, if the spouse is not a felon? in this case the P.O. forbids the parolee from living with spouse because spouse has a medical marijuana license. Parolee has not smoked pot and passed all urine tests for six months when out. Still, under what circumstances can a P.O. break up a happy marriage?

The PO isn't breaking up a marriage. The dope is breaking up the marriage. The PO is ordering the parolee to stay away from the dope. Move the dope to another location, the parolee can come home. Keep the dope in the home, the parolee can't come home. Choose the dope or the dude. You can't have both!!!
