Hi.

I have recently got a ticket for parking in bike only spot that is marked with diagonal lines and not intended for passenger vehicle parking. However, There is a sign saying that parking is only enforced 6am-4pm and ticket was issued at 11pm.

Do I have chances to contest the ticket based on the fact that sign was misleading? I guess what they meant is that enforcement _for bikes_ is from 6am-4pm, yet that was not specified on the sign.

Thank you.

I mam just going to make a guess that you may have misunderstood the sign... so please correct if I am wrong.

The designated bike space likely had a particular time limit for parking, and that time limit is what is enforced during those specific hours.

At no time is a passenger vehicle intended to be utilizing the designated bike space.
