I was walking around town after a football game, my brother was caught peeing on a building and was receiving and MIP, I had beers I was carrying with me to a party but while I was waiting for him with some friends around the corner (we didn't follow him to pee) I decided to open a beer because we were bored. When my brother was all finished up he called me to make sure we were still waiting for him, I said yeah and walked over to him, to my surprise they cops were still there and nailed me for my open can of beer. I am 21 and don't have a thing on my record and was very cooperative, honest, and polite with the cops and poured it out before even asking me to do so. I am just wondering what to expect from something so stupid and how to handle the situation in court.
