found 11 yr loan contract signed - photocopy
can i issue summons & enforce

No, you can't issue a summons.

No, you can't enforce the contract.

Yes, you can request a court issue a summons, and bring a lawsuit for breach of contract.

But, not with an 11 year old contract.

The statute of limitations varies from state to state.

It can, possibly be extended, IF all parties reach a mutual agreement to toll the time period.

Yeah, don't bet the ranch on that happening often!!!!!

In Florida, the SOL period can range from 2 to 5 years, depending on the type of civil action you wish to pursue.

In breach of contract cases, the time period is 5 years when a written contract is involved.

Anyway, Merry Christmas!

happy new year
loan made in Britain, with limitation of 6 years, but extra info is -

UK
1. cash loan signed contract sufficient evident to secure CCJ.
2. 11 year old loan, I sent letters of demand.
Had lost contract due to fires.
Got CCJ 4 yrs ago, as there are 4 contracts for total loan.

3. % success for late appeal by 4 mths against costs.

4. What are valid grounds to lodge appeal against CCJ decided by trial with all present at trial.

thanks

You'll need to attempt to settle this matter in a UK court.

Some foreign (out of the USA) can be domesticated and collected against in the USA.

However, if your target in in the UK, that won't do you much good.

Your bets bet is to contact a solicitor in the UK and discuss your options.
