As an employee of a chiropractic & Massage company, as a Licensed Massage Practitioner, I and the others as individuals are held responsible to complete reattestation at home on personal computers with CAQH & One health Port and fax supporting documents because we do not have Internet access at work. Is this legal and/or ethical? We do have a secretary that handles front desk clients & administrator that handles insurance and other claims. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sounds like a major information privacy violation issue. Why won't they get internet?

It sounds to me like a place that I'd seriously question whether it will be a going concern. Unless there is a good reason, it seems as though they are failing to use what is generally considered a cost of doing business. If it isn't a privacy violation issue, there certainly seems to be a negligence case waiting to happen should something happen. Without knowing more facts, I'll just say that my legal spider sense is tingling.
