    Hi there,

    Thank you for your time. Here is the situation;

    I am involved in a messy divorce. Ex is livivng with ex-inlaes. All of them hate me even though I am nice. Boo Hoo. They owned 30% of my old house which just sold. Funds are coming. Today In the mail I received a very detailed list of every bit of help they ever gave us on the house. 27 items ranging from "paint for closet door-$15" to "New Roof-7,600. They name my and ex (which is odd since she now lives with them) and I for 70% of the total . So, they want about 8K from each of us. Of course they won't actually collect from her (they just bought her a BMW to cheer her up) they sayin ten day they will file.

    Seems like nonsense to me. Will they file? Do they have a case? Should I simply make up a list of my own and countersue them, for 30% of that total? Does it matter that I, and I alone made the 3K mortgage payment and the 5K in property tax? Don't you think they are jerks?
