Recently a loved one living in Missouri received a supplemental trust. Unfortunately she committed suicide not long thereafter. When we tried to find out about her trust we were told that her attorney was no longer employed at the firm and took her file. Looking for some answers? Can this be reviewed?

Please accept my condolences upon the loss of your recently, dearly beloved, and departed relative.
You might want to consult with a few local attorneys.
The initial meeting is often provided without charge.

I'd also discuss this with the local police agency where the relative died, and/or where the MIA lawyer once worked.

Visit the police HQ and meet with a detective in the bunco, fraud, or financial crimes areas.
If the agency is small, just ask to meet with any available detective.

Last, but not least, in MO you can report the matter and file a complaint with the MO Supreme Court, NOT the state bar association of MO, here you go:
