ok here is the issue. A friend of mine sold a motor home to his dad for 5000, payments of 500 a month. His dad decided to trade the motor home for a 5th wheel, before its was paid off. Then decided he did not want the 5th wheel either, thats where i come in, I am now buying the 5th for 6000, payments of 200 a week. My friends dad has now missed a payment and my friend says now I need to pay him and not his dad or he will come and take the 5th wheel. Can he do this, does he have any legal ties to the 5th wheel. I am paying my payments like I am suppose to and I have a bill of sale and receipts of payments made. The title is not in my friends name or his dads. In fact over the years this 5th wheel has never been transfered from the original owner, I am in the process of that right now.

It appears that you purchase contract was with dad.

You should continue paying dad.

In fact, failing to pay dad, puts you in breach of your contract.

You might want to tell dad what Junior has been up to by trying to get you to pay him and not dad.

You may also want to try and get dad to transfer title from original owner.
