Is an apartment considered uninhabitable if there are no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors?
 
Is an apartment considered uninhabitable if there are no smoke or carbon monoxide detectors?


The absence of detectors, alone, wouldn't make the unit unfit for human habitation.

It could, however,cause the owner to receive a citation.
