I was invited to car auction and I was told by friend they were gonna help me buy a car they were putting up 3500 and my 1000 I picked a car they bid on it final 4100 what we got to auction window I gave my pay chk and 700 cash to her told her if the money was not being put down on the car I am buying where I have receipts showing it went there then I would just like my money back I'll wait til the car is delivered and we can work a deal on paper k . Well she gave me nothing and when I ask for my money she told me that she owed me nothing . Then she text telling me I would get my money when it wasn't tied up . Is this legal what can I do if they stole my pay chk and cash
