the state attorney is pushing for probation and adjudication withheld.

What is the meaning of adjudication witheld?



pocket knife on school property.

He didn't know he had it,and when he found it one of his freinds told him not to turn it in because he would be arrested.

I think you need to get the full implications of what a guilty plea means. In some instances I believe that probation can mean that if there are no further incidents, the record is wiped clean as though it never happened...
