Criminal Law Need Help: Temporary green card remove condition & DUI

I am located in West Covina, CA. I got my temporary green card at 2004. It is time for me to remove the condition. But I had DUI (first DUI, no any injury and damage and i am sure it is going to the last DUI too) at July 2005. I completed all the court order, except I am still on probation (the probation is end at 2008).
Question: How DUI is going to affect removing condition from temporary green card? In my case, Can I get approval of removing condition for my green card before the probation end or I only can get approval after the probation end? Thanks you very muh.
