I got a ticket for doing 38 in a 25 in a school zone in NC. I went to the DA and was told I had to take a class to get it reduced to 9 mph over the speed limit however, my insurance agent talked to an underwriter and told me that speeding in a school zone puts an automatic 3 points on my driving record and 1 point on my insurance so taking the class wouldn't help. Who's right ? Could I use a Prayer for Judgement ? If yes, how would I do this ? My drivind record is clean for over 3 years and I have never used one. Thank you.
