my son is 4 and currently hold the mother last name. the reason for this is due to the fact that i was not there at birth. actually, to be more specific, i didn't even know that i had a child until a month later and that was because the mother thought that someone else was the father. i pay child support and i am in my sons life. i have since day 1 tried to dispute this matter but she has given me every excuse as to why not to change.
what do i do ?
