When I was born my last name was Zurn, my mother's maiden name, because my mother was not married. When I was 4 she married and my father "adopted" me, making my last name Davis. 10 years later they divorced, however my name remained Davis. I am now 19 and would like to switch it back to Zurn, the name on my birth certificate. Is there a way I can change it back legally without having to pay the fee because it was my previous name?
