Probably a standard leasing story. I am a 3rd year college student, this is my first year living out of campus housing. I signed a one year lease with friends of mine for the apartment we are living in now. Unfortunately their attitudes about school have changed and they have become increasingly hard to live with. I have tried to act very mature and ask them to stop doing some stuff but so far my requests have fallen on dear ears. It is looking increasingly more and more that I will have to move out of here, but I don't know if I can because of the lease. What are my options besides finding someone to sublease my position out for, if all else fails, can I move out but pay my portion of the rent and still avoid any legal headaches? I'd appreciate any insights.
