My Husband Has a Lot of Debt

I am finding out little by little that my husband in in a lot of debt, anywhere from $20,000 to $100,000. Different parties are really pressing us for the money. My husband was self-employed, but his business is on the verge of bankruptcy, and we've not had any income from it in a while (I'm not sure how long exactly). I'm pretty sure we've dropped below the poverty level. My children and I are not sure what the best option for us as a family, as well as for securing their futures, is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
