in the state of alabama in a murder case how long can a person be held in jail without any evidence or circunstantial evidence and witness says that person did not commit crime.but they or using his juveinile record against person because they were a problem child

He'll be there until the trial, or when he can be bailed out (which doesn't seem likely). If he has an attorney, he needs to discuss his situation with the attorney.

If he is on "no bond" status, he will sit in jail until his trial. He definitely needs an attorney.

You don't know what evidence they have against your loved one.

That's the purpose of discovery (have your loved one speak with his/her attorney about that).

I know they have one, if they're being held on a capital murder case.

As to whether your loved one committed the crime, we won't know (well, you won't know) until the trial unfolds.
I've seen capital murder cases take four to six years to get to trial.

So, how long can they be confined while waiting for their day in court, a long time.

Look at OJ, he was in jail 18 months, although he though it was a long time, he spent less than half the time others do.

His lawyers invoked the speedy trial process.
