I was a victim of an assault. I was hospitalized for 2 weeks with a shot gun wound to the leg. I have some hefty hospital bills that I need to pay and I really need my monetary restitution that the court ordered. I was supposed to be paid in full by March 2007. I still have not received over four thousand dollars. The DA's Office doesn't care and the limit for small claims court in Mississippi is twenty-five hundred dollars. Any advice would be much appreciated.
