I was involved in a motorcycle accident that was not my fault which resulted in me and my wife skidding down the road a good bit. After two months we both have what appears to be significant permanent scarring from the serious road rash.
The at fault car driver's insurance company says they will pay damges for permanent scarring. I have no idea what the scarring would be worth in settlement dollars, is there any rule of thumb on this, how much should we ask for?
We have suffered a good deal over our painful injuries.
