mistake on ticket in NC ?'s

i got a ticket for careless rekless driving today and the officer didnt put the what kinda car, yr, model, and he didnt have me sign it he just wrote " copy served" in my signature box is any of this enough to get the ticket droped?

As long as you can be identified as the driver, No.

Drivers don't sign tickets in NC.

Get a lawyer unless you can afford for you insurance to increase 300 - 400%

tht is so bogus, so i dont have to sign a ticket at all in NC. man im so ... how long usally till the officer files the ticket with the courts?

there should be a court date on your ticket.

If there is no court date on the ticket they should mail one out. If the address on your license is incorrect it will be on you to call and get your court date. You don't have to sign the citation in most states. The officer may have left the yr, make, and model off of your copy of the citation to get the traffic stop over with faster but chances are he had the information from your tag on his computer screen and filled the information out on the court copy before turning it in.
