my son has been paying his debts off through the cccs for the last three and half years never missing a payment He now only owes to three companies according to his statements but he has just recieved a letter from one of the old creditors saying he still owes money on three different accounts with them. These debts were all paid in full in july 2007 according to his statements and nobody has contacted him to say any different until now .The cccs are saying that these companies can add interest on whenever they want Can the companies do this.After feeling his life was actually getting back to normal and coming closer to paying off all his debts he his now burdened with this causing himself and me a lot of stress and confusion.Please can you advise us on our rights as nobody seems bothered including the cccs .
