Hi, I obtained misdeamor charges and was placed on 1yr Probation and ordered to pay within one year and I would be released off Probation. The problem was I was Homeless and my children were already displaced. I had to leave Georgia to ger my daughter by way of Travelers aid, to get my daughter in California, in which, were still Homeless. I want to come back to Georgia but don't want to go to jail while I have my 11 yr old. Is there a way to show PROOF, i'm still Homeless and get the judge to lower my payments and take the warrant of? Is there a program or plea I can take. Please help!

Generally when there is a warrant you need to turn yourself in & pay off what you owe. You can call the court clerk & ask if they set up payment plans. (some do) If you actually go to the court house to discuss the matter & don't have the full payment, it's possible you will be arrested.
