Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication misdemeanor marijuana texas

I recently was arrested for class b misdemeanor possesion of maryjane, in a hick town in texas. I negotiated a guilty plea for 5 days in jail and a hondsome fine (30 days to turn self in to jail). Now I don't live in this town and I drove the distance after negotiating the required days off with my employment (because i am in demand at the company). I get to the jail, (fines & court costs in hand) and they will not take me because they did not receive or lost the paperwork. I made them give me a signed statement that I showed and tried to commit. I cannot take off work again right away. Now, where do I stand? Is there a way to possibly avoid jail at this point? Do I renegotiate with the prosecutor/judge? Ect.???

Where I'm from jail time for MJ is almost never heard of. But Texans are a little but more strict So I guess it is possible. Did they tell you what to do next? If not they try to contact the judge ask what is going on and that you tried to do what you where told show him the paper and find out what he says.
