My understanding is that certain records are not accessible and private sessions with a psychologist would be considered privileged communication. It is even protected from an attorney unless the privilege is waived. There are very important public policy considerations for this -- people would not feel free to talk to these professionals when they really need help for fear of having what they say released so easily to members of the general public.Originally posted by n0mad
