I work for a major retail chain and have concerns over some of our LP's procedures. They are always apprehending the "shoplifter" in the store by one of the doors but in the store. Which I thought was unusual because they hadn't left the store yet. They (LP), monitor the "shoplifter" and witness the theft but violently apprehend them. To the point one "shoplifters" head was banged into a wall creating a hole in the dry wall when the two LP's were bringing the shoplifter into their office. On another occasion, which happened as recently as Easter Sunday. This "shoplifter" left a pool of blood and a trail of blood in the store and had enlarged blood blister on his head. I have never heard them identify themselves but in all honesty I am not always around when this happens. In my opinion it is like they feel they are above the law. I mean, law enforcement officers can't even do this.
