Hello! I have an LLC in Ohio and just recently found out that my partner (40% ownership) who is on the official incorporation paperwork filed for personal bankruptcy. He assures me this will not impact the business. However, I need to validate this statement. We are coming into year 3 of the business where I have provided all the owner's capital to get the business running. Basically he provides the service to our customers and I manage (marketing and day to day operations)the business. The business is growing and I now can start offering salaries, etc. I'm not sure about the impact of his personal filing,the assets and the small income it is starting to generate. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
