If I allow my 22 year old son and his 20 year old girl friend to move in with me and they incur debts, medical bills, and other legal obligations while residing in my home, do I incur any legal obligations, or can I be considered a party to any legal actions, as a result, or are they no different than any guest or tenant in my home, i.e., they are legal adults and their problems are not my responsibility ?
If I permit them to move in with me and subsequently require one or both of them to remove themselves from the premises and they refuse, do I call a sheriff to remove them, or will I need to follow the eviction process through the court system ??
If I permit them to move in with me, should I first have them sign a contract specifying the terms, length, and conditions of their residency, including their agreement to leave when specified or if requested for other reasons ??? :dunno:
