I was recently dating a guy. I broke the relationship off after I graduated, because I did not want to have intimitate relations. He claims I owe him almost 900 in a week or he can stop my scholarships from coming. He also claims to be able to write a book using every conversation, picture and meeting we've had together "To show the world what a ***** I am". Can he legally do this, or is it a bluff?

    Irelandfairy,

This is a strange situation. Why did he claim you owed him $900, and what basis would he have for stopping scholarships unless he is the scholarship grantor? Regarding publication of private details of your life to embarass you, that sounds like a defamation issue (if untrue) or a privacy violation, but there may be some privilege or other justification to publish such a thing that I am not aware of. I guess ultimately, what is his reason for claiming you owe $900?
