I have 2 questions. First, does legal aid help with divorce cases? And second, my fiancé once called legal aid for help, but they told them that they couldn't assist him because it would be a conflict of interest. I believe his soon-to-be ex-wife has used them before in a case involving him. Does this mean he will never be able to use legal aid or just not for cases that involve her? Thank you.

Ask them why there would be a conflict of interest. Regarding divorce cases, I'm guessing it's a maybe and probably only if you are in the poverty category.
