Landlord wants to take away Parking Space

Our lease plainly states that we are leasing the Parking space #526. Last night, our landlord called and said that we are going to have to move to an uncovered space much further away from our unit because the space that we have is now going to be given to some new people that purchased a different unit. What should we do?

Read the fine print of the lease……..see if he has the right to relocate your space without your consent. If he does not, you can maintain it legally until your lease expires. Negotiate with him and see if you get some goodies then make the deal and move if you chose too. You can call the tow truck if you find someone illegally parking on your spot. The law would be on your side………..warn him about that.
