My landlord has been MIA for the last 6 months. I have not paid rent and cannot find him. I am sure he went back to his home country in Europe. The problem is that I got a notice that that were foreclosing on the house because there has been no payments made to the bank since before he went missing. My question is, what rights, if any do I have when it comes to the house? Someone mentioned something about the squatters act, but I dont know if that pertains to me.I have lived in the house for 9 months. I am more than willing to make payments to the bank before they foreclose, but I dont know if that will do anything for me...What can I do?
