Landlord give notice and never shows up

Hello,

In our building not only has the landlord entered without permission
into our units (for non-emergencies) but on several occasions when he give us notice that he is coming he does not show up does not call to let us know
he is not coming, so we end up missing a day of work. Is there some kind
of way we can get reinbursed. What should we say in the letter to him?

I'm not a lawyer, so take this for what it's worth. Do you have any written agreement that stipulates compensation for your landlord's lack of consideration for your time?

I would caution you against any other form of retribution that you might think is appropriate.

As in all such matters, I suggest you "keep it professional." That tack usually communicates a need for the other party to clean up his act.
