On top of the fact that we had a "lock box" affixed to our front door five of the six months of our lease, we found out recently from an old friend, who happened to be the past tenant, that his uncollected key still opens the house. Although this person is our friend, who's to say his former roommates might be inclined to access our house? Beside that, is the house even rentable without the changing of the locks taking place, or the retrieval of the house keys.
