My son (minor) was just finishing up his informal probation for possession of marajuana. He ended up having to take classes, drug tests and lost his license for 90 days. Next month it was to be taken off his record. Well he just got another ticket for the samething except he was driving this time. He was pulled over for speeding. The cop asked for his license but not registration or insurance. He then asked him to get out of the car and searched him. He didnt find anything. He asked my son if he had anything in the car, which he did. He received ticket for possession and back tail light was not bright enough (it works) but nothing for speeding. Spoke with an attorney today says that it could be an illegal search but wouldnt know until he receives the report. In the mean time it would be $2500 for them to take the case.
