Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft just need some clarafication and am a bit confused.

so i stole from my job oct 19th. i got fired. i cooperated so i wasnt arested but charges were pressed. i came to an agreement to pay restitution to best buy. went to court charges were dropped. at the time of the incident i asked the general manager how i was to pay restitution if i am banned from all STORE NAME he said STORE NAME would contact me. its now dec 26 and no contact has been made. and i am to pay the restitution by jan 1? but they have not even contacted me. so wat do i do

Contact the store and ask them whom you contact to make this payment

Was it court ordered restitution? If so, you pay through the courts probation department. You pay them and they cut a check to the store.

If it was store restitution, I would contact the LP. Be persistent. Do not let this go to the wayside. They will most likely give you the run around, but you need to stay on top of this so that they do not send it to collections.

Find the home office address, start sending money orders or cashiers checks, be sure to right RESTITUTION on them and save your stubs so you have proof.
