I had a wage garnishment for a vehicle in 2010. I'm in the process of getting my credit straight. My wages was garnished for $8200 and on my credit report it states that I have a charge of for $6900. The attorrney sent me a letter saying I still owe money I called him and he said I still owe the interest of $1500. I found out through my company that after the wage garnishment he had 30 days to apply for the interest he waited 6 months so they declinded to let him collect. What can I do about this problem.

Be smart, do NOTHING.
Unless you want to give him the alleged $1,500 he purports you owe.
He screwed himself.
Don't let him con you into doing that to yourself.
Whatever you do, don't communicate with him, and for your sake, don't pay him one dollar more.
If you do, you've voided the SOL or his ability to collect on his Outdated judgment.
