I will make this short as possible. Judgment wasn't filed in time by a creditors attorney in the court so I was sent a dismissal due to the creditors attorney not filing a judgment, which was back in early 2007. Recently I received a letter from the court saying a judgment had been filed against me by the creditors attorney stating the the judgment wasn't filed in 2007 because of a clerical error. It doesn't say by whom the clerical error was made(attorney or court). Can this be legally done? I know it may be a dumb question because they did send me a judgment from the court. Can someone shed some light on why they can do this? Thank you for any answer.
