Personal Bankruptcy Johnso marketing

I work for an ad agency, I have a client that wants to place yellow pages advertising, he owed $1600 in 2002 filed chapter 7 bankruptcy 05/14/03. a collection agency is telling us that he still owes them the $1600 and the yellow page company Yellow Book will not allow him to advertise until it has been paid. I have a copy of his discharge of debtor paper but it doesn't state who exactly it covered, shouldn't it have covered the money he owed to the yellow page company in 02? The case number is 03-30696 (3)

Yes, it was discharged under his bankruptcy, however if he caused a business a loss that business does not have to get indebted to him again if they don't want to-- it would all be in the fine print of the policies
