I'm doing a paper on conning and loopholes in society and I need to know whether any legal action can be taken against the following:
Suppose you buy a video game from Store A for $30. You see that the same game is being sold at Store B for $50. In addition, the return policy for Store B allows you to exchange unopened items or receive store credit. If someone purposely buys the game from Store A (for $30) and takes it over to Store B and exchanges it for $50 worth of stuff, is there anything illegal about doing that? I realize it's dishonest, but is it illegal? Any insight you can give would be helpful. Thanks.
