My wife and I bought our home on 12/20/07. We did not reeceive a good faith estimate or TIL until we were signing papers at the closing. We had asked several times days prior to the closing for a good faith and had no idea what the terms of the loan were or the fact that we had to come up with $3000 until we were at the closing. I read the respa guidelines and think there was a RESPA violation, but would like confermation before I file a complaint. Thanks for the help!
