Is Adjudication Witheld a Conviction?

I was arrested for a 3rd degree felony drug possession. I pleaded no contest and since it was my 1st and only offense adjudication was witheld. On an application for employment, can I state that I have not been convicted of a felony? And if an employer does a background check, will it show up as a felony conviction?
