At the disbursement of funds by an individual trustee, an attorney, for an irrevocable trust (Crummey), what kind of fees can be anticipated? There were no annual fees paid for duties /maintainence, but the trust was paid up / popped after the trust was held for two years. It was held for a total of eleven years. Is 4% of the entire amount reasonable? In research and inquiry to this point, it seems quite excessive considering the minimal work required.
