Internet chat forum -stalker posted rubbish

i run a small company. a few months back a disgruntled customer who turned into a stalker has posted information all over the web on various chat sites absolutly cursing our business (all lies). most companys i contacted removed it but one wont. can i issue a claim through the small claims court under defermation to get them to remove it? my business is on the verge of collapse becuase of this stalker.
