Hi
I have a lease to own contract with my tenant. He pays his rent late almost every month. besides that I found out that the dishwasher broke and leaked onto the family room floor. I called my insurance company and a public adjuster to help me get the most out of the insurance company. I had the dishwasher fixed and the floor in the family room replaced. the tenant is asking for a copy of the insurance estimate. is he entitled to it? I still own the house and I pay for the insurance. Do I have to use all of the insurance money on the house? or can I just fix what is necessary in case he does not buy the house? How do I know what is required of me to fix verses what is fluff money due to the adjuster that I hired?
