Insurance coverage

My son was rollar blading (Maine) when a truck had stopped suddenly. He hit the back fender and actually dented it. The following day he went to urgent care because of the pain. Would he be covered under the auto insurance for the Bills? He does not have insurance. The owner of the truck is claiming he was 100% at fault. I wasnt there, so I have no exact details. Under normal circumstances, would he be covered? Ww are waiting a call from her insurance company.

The answer is it depends on the type of car insurance the person who caused the accident may have and your local and state laws.

If he hit the back fender I would say he is at fault. You can expect the insurance company to deny your claim. Vehicles have the right to stop suddenly.
